School Classes

Our pupil roll is approximately 350.  Our school caters for children Year One to Year Six.

We currently have two new entrant classes in the junior school.  

As the roll numbers increase in the new entrant classrooms, we open up another new entrant class and some children may be identified to transition to Year One classes.

Our classes are organised into two areas of the school: Te Kawenga o Kaiwhare Y1-3 and Te Aumangea a Hape Y4-6

Each area of the school is led by two Team Leaders (TL).

At Nga Iwi School our whānau can request that their tamariki enter our Whanau Tu Pakari (Maori bilinugal unit).

The Tu Pakari team is led by Whaea Jean Herewini.
