School Classes

Our pupil roll is approximately 400.  Our school caters for children Year One to Year Six.

We currently have two new entrant classes in the junior school.  

As the roll numbers increase in the new entrant classrooms, we open up another new entrant class and some children may be identified to transition to Year One classes.

Our classes are organised into three areas of the school: junior, middle and senior.

Each area of the school is led by a Team Leader (TL).

At Nga Iwi School our whānau can request that their tamariki enter our Whanau Tu Pakari (Maori enhancement unit).

The Tu Pakari team is led by Whaea Jean Herewini.
