Miss Tagiilima arranged for some craft activities to take place during Samoan Language Week. We did tapa craft to put their lines of symmetry skills to the test using coloured paper. Next they created a samoan siapo bark cloth look by using brown paper and natural colours to draw traditional symbols such as sea creatures, nature (flowers or leaves) and shapes. Mrs Tafao did some amazing weaving using flax with the students.
