This year we celebrated Samoan langauge week in style with a week filled with activities and an Assembly to share our learning. Students were treated to craft activities and Samoan games at lunchtime with Lape and weaving aong the choices. On the Friday, we had a sharing assembly and our Samoan group performed for the school, showing us singing, dancing and the 'Toa Samoa'. Our Samoan group is a new fixture in our school and they will continue to practice throughout the year, learning songs, dance and Samoan traditions. We are very lucky to have Mrs Sharma, Mrs Leilua, Mrs Toleafoa, Miss Tagiilima and Mrs Rafiki supporting this group and continuing to grow it.
