WELCOME BACK TO TERM 4. Lets get EVERYONE back to school! NEW ENROLMENTS WELCOME.

Wahine Toa Breakfast

Our Wahine Toa breakfast was a huge success.  It was wonderful to see so many mums come together to support our school and ultimately, support their tamariki.  The purpose of the event was to build relationships, get to know each other and to work together to develop the direction of our school.  We started the event with our Karakia before we partook in shared kai.  Eating together gave us time to get to know each other.  After breakfast Mrs Fepuleai talked to us about the schools 'Living the Vision' plan.  She talked about changes in the curriculum, changes to how and what our tamariki learn, changes to how and what reporting looks like and finally what a student graduate profile is.  We then got to work with staff, sharing thoughts and ideas towards the Student Graduate Profile.  We offered ideas for skills, tools, opportunities, knowledge, values, characteristics, habits and attitudes.  The information gathered from this discussion will help shape the Nga Iwi School Graduate profile and inform the strategic direction and planning for our school.

Fa'afetai tele lava, nga mihi nui, malo aupito to all the mums who came to our event.  We look forward to welcoming our dads to the Tama Toa event coming soon.
